Every wedding tells a unique story, and Carly and Michael's special day, held on July 15, 2023, at the charming Sugarloaf Barn in Abergavenny, was no exception. Despite the whimsical touch of drizzle and the playful gusts of wind, their wedding unfolded like a fairy tale, leaving us with unforgettable memories and beautiful footage.
True to British weather, the day greeted us with a soft drizzle and gusty winds. However, this did not dampen the spirits of the couple or the guests. Instead, it added a touch of magic to the atmosphere. The gentle raindrops and breezy winds complemented the rustic setting, making for some dramatic and memorable scenes.
Moreover, we utilised our new Lumix S5IIx camera for ground footage. This state-of-the-art equipment allowed us to capture every moment in stunning clarity and detail, from the delicate decorations to the joyful expressions of the couple and their guests.
Despite the weather challenges, we managed to deploy our drone to capture some spectacular aerial views of the venue and the surrounding landscape. The drone footage added an extraordinary perspective to our film, showcasing the grandeur of the location and the joyous occasion.
Carly and Michael's wedding at Sugarloaf Barn was not just an assignment for us; it was an experience we will cherish. The combination of a lovely venue, the challenge of the weather, and the joy of the occasion allowed us to create a wedding film that truly encapsulates the essence of their special day. We are grateful to have been a part of their journey and to have had the chance to capture their love story in such a beautiful setting.
